Position Overview
PsyPhyCare is seeking a qualified Physician for a part-time opportunity in Marion, Illinois. The selected provider will deliver on-site medical services to an adult population within a correctional healthcare setting.
This opportunity offers a consistent part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week across two weekdays.
Responsibilities
- Provide general medical care to an adult patient population
- Conduct physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order appropriate diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Make referrals to specialists when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Current and valid license to practice medicine
- Appropriate residency training
- Board certification or eligibility preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills
- Ability to successfully complete required credentialing and background screening
Schedule
Approximately 20 hours per week, generally scheduled across two weekdays.
