Part-Time Personal BankerDieterich Bank is hiring a Part-Time Personal Banker for our Teutopolis branch! If you enjoy building relationships, helping people reach their financial goals, and delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to meet you.Schedule:Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pmRotating Saturdays, 8:00am to 12:00pmPart-time positionPay: $15-$17 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsAbout the RoleAs a Personal Banker, you will be the face of Dieterich Bank, helping customers with their everyday banking needs while building strong relationships within the community. You'll assist customers with account openings, transactions, online banking support, and financial solutions that help improve their overall financial well-being.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, and working in a team-oriented environment.What You'll DoDeliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming banking experienceProcess customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashingAssist customers with online banking, mobile banking, and digital banking servicesOpen and maintain checking, savings, and other deposit accountsRespond to account inquiries and resolve customer concerns professionallyHelp customer identify banking products and services that fit their financial needsProcess account maintenance requests, including address changes and account updatesMaintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with banking regulations and policiesSupport branch operations and collaborate with team members to achieve branch goalsWhat We're Looking For1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in banking, financial services, retail, or a similar face-to-face environmentAssociate degree in Business or related field preferredDependable with the ability to work a rotating Saturday scheduleStrong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skillsAbility to recognize customer needs and recommend appropriate banking solutionsComfortable using technology, including Microsoft Office, online banking platforms, and mobile applicationsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesTeam play who demonstrates professionalism and a positive attitudeCommitment to Dieterich Bank's core values: Integrity, Value, Service Excellence, and TeamworkDieterich Bank is a community bank with approximately $1.5 billion in assets, serving customers through 16 locations across South Central Illinois and the Metro East region, as well as a loan production office in South County, St. Louis.
