Part-Time Payer Contracting Specialist

To support a behavioral health treatment organization, the part-time Payer Contracting & Credentialing Specialist will manage payer contracting, credentialing, and reimbursement analysis while working remotely for approximately 10 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit commercial and Medicaid organizational applications, track contracting milestones, and coordinate managed care organization enrollment Review payer contracts and fee schedules to identify reimbursement variances and flag operational or financial risks Conduct focused reviews of billing practices against payer policies and maintain accurate contracting and enrollment records Required Qualifications At least three years of behavioral health payer contracting experience, including Medicaid MCO enrollment Working knowledge of behavioral health CPT and HCPCS codes and level-of-care billing requirements Demonstrated ability to interpret Medicaid fee schedules and identify reimbursement discrepancies Strong written communication skills for delivering clear findings and recommendations Ability to prioritize assignments and manage deadlines independently
