Part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant interested in joining our growing practice.
Hours - Tuesday through Thursday, 8 am-5pm (Monday afternoons optional)
The advanced practice providers at the Spine Institute of Louisiana act are an extension of the physicians, working side by side with them in both the clinic and surgery settings.
Responsibilities include:
- Hospital rounds
- Initial evaluations
- injections
- Pre-op and Post-op H&P’s
- Prescriptions
- Ordering tests and evaluating X-Ray, CT scan and MRI
- Seeing Patients in Clinic and Ultimately Running a Clinic Independent of Physician
- Filling in as Surgical First Assist Occassionally
Successful candidate should be AANP or NCCPA-certified/eligible. New graduates are welcome to apply. Nurse Practitioner candidates will need to have completed or complete the RNFA credential.
