Day in the Life of a Nurse Practitioner
- Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic settings.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment.
- Complete medical documentation according to Crossroads standards.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
- Perform injections.
Schedule & Locations
- Primary center: Girard
- Target weekly hours: Week 1 – 14 hours, Week 2 – 20 hours
- Proposed scheduled:
- Week 1: Saturday Girard 7am-2pm, Sunday Chester 7am-2pm
- Week 2: Saturday Girard 7am-2pm, Sunday Chester 7am-2pm, Tuesday Norristown 1pm-7pm
Education and Licensure Requirements
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the state you are applying to work in.
- DEA licensure in the state of the center.
- Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice.
