Location: Macon, GA (Onsite)

Schedule: Part-time | Approximately 1–2 weekdays per week (hours expected to increase as patient volume grows)

Salary: $45–$65/hour , depending on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiation Therapy Technologist to support the delivery of Pluvicto (Lu-177 PSMA) radioligand therapy in an outpatient setting. This individual will work under the supervision of an Authorized User Physician to safely prepare, administer, monitor, and document patient treatments while maintaining the highest standards of radiation safety and patient care.

This is an excellent opportunity to help launch and grow a new outpatient radioligand therapy program with the potential for additional hours as the program expands.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and administer patient-specific Pluvicto treatments under physician supervision. Verify physician orders, written directives, patient identification, laboratory results, and prescribed activity before treatment. Establish peripheral IV access and safely administer intravenous radioligand therapy. Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, responding appropriately to any adverse reactions or treatment-related concerns. Prepare treatment rooms using proper shielding, contamination-control materials, radiation-monitoring equipment, and emergency supplies. Follow ALARA principles and all federal, state, and facility radiation safety regulations. Perform radiation surveys, contamination checks, dose measurements, and radioactive waste handling. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, radiation safety records, and treatment records within the electronic medical record. Educate patients on the treatment process, post‑treatment precautions, hydration, and radiation safety instructions. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, pharmacy partners, and clinical leadership to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Perform post‑therapy SPECT/CT imaging when credentialed and required by the treatment protocol. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, program development, training, and regulatory compliance activities.

Required Qualifications

Must meet one of the following:

  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT(N)
  • ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist (RT(T)) Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency with peripheral IV placement
  • Knowledge of radiation safety, radioactive material handling, contamination control, and ALARA principles
  • Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians and the clinical team
  • Reliable transportation to the Macon clinic

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Theranostics, or related experience
  • Experience administering Pluvicto , Lutathera , Xofigo , or other therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals
  • Experience performing post‑therapy SPECT/CT imaging
  • Experience using dose calibrators, survey meters, hot lab equipment, and radioactive waste management procedures
  • Experience in outpatient oncology, nuclear medicine, radiation oncology, or ambulatory infusion settings
  • Experience helping launch or grow a new clinical program
