Virtua Anesthesia – West, a dedicated group of anesthesiologists at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Part-Time Night Float Anesthesiologist to join our growing team.
This unique opportunity offers the ability to work approximately 13 weeks per year while earning a starting salary of $300,000 , providing exceptional flexibility and work-life balance.
This role provides independent, in-house overnight coverage with a focus on:
- Airway management throughout the hospital
- OB anesthesia call and support
- Emergent and urgent cases that arise overnight
- Collaborating with surgical, ED, ICU, and OB teams to ensure safe and timely care
The position is structured as a one week a month schedule , offering a predictable rotation and extended time off.
What We’re Looking For
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist
- Minimum 2–3 years of post-training experience preferred (or equivalent high-volume, high-autonomy experience)
- Strong skills in airway rescue, OB anesthesia, and emergency response
- Ability to work independently with confidence and sound clinical judgment
- Commitment to quality, patient safety, and teamwork

OLOL Camden is a tertiary-care hospital known for cardiac surgery, transplant programs, high-acuity critical care, and obstetrics. Overnight coverage includes varied and meaningful clinical responsibilities across these services.
The starting salary for this position is: $300,000.00.
The actual compensation package could vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, the applicant’s experience, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
