Role Overview: This full-time position is for a Charge MRI Radiology Technologist working on the day shift in a leading hospital's advanced medicine center.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in MRI and other advanced modalities on adult and pediatric patients.
- Prepare patients and equipment, and conduct studies independently, including portable and on-call exams.
- Oversee shift operations, manage workflow, assign tasks, and adjust priorities to meet departmental needs.
- Serve as a clinical resource, troubleshoot issues, mentor staff and students, and assist in developing departmental protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and elevate issues to supervisors as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or equivalent trade school training.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR, with ARRT certification.
- 2+ years of relevant imaging experience; preferred 5-10 years.
- Knowledge of MRI procedures, patient care, and equipment operation.
Additional Details: No call or weekend work, with a schedule of three days per week, offering opportunities for mentorship and leadership within a collaborative environment. The role involves problem-solving, technical expertise, and providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
