Apollo Men's Health is seeking a reliable and compassionate Part-Time Medical Assistant to support our clinical team and ensure a smooth and positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will assist providers with clinical duties, patient care, and daily clinic operations.
Position Type: Part-Time
Clinical Duties
* Perform venipuncture and blood draws safely and accurately
* Admiister intramuscular (IM), subcutaneous (SubQ), and other injections as directed by providers
* Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
* Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight
* Assist providers during medical procedures and patient visits
* Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
* Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Patient Care
* Educate patients on treatments, medications, and follow-up instructions
* Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed during their visit
* Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
Clinic Support
* Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment
* Maintain proper sanitation and infection control standards
* Stock and organize medical supplies
* Assist with patient check-in/check-out as needed
* Maintain clean and organized clinical areas
Requirements
* 1-3 years of Medical Assistant experience
* Experience with blood draws and injections
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced clinical environment
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Familiarity with EMR systems preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
* Experience in men's health, wellness clinics, or primary care
* Experience with IV therapy or hormone therapy injections is a plus
