Haddon Heights School District Part Time Lunch And Recess MonitorsHaddon Heights School District Haddon Heights, NJ 08035 Part Time Lunch and Recess Monitors 2 hours per day/10 hours per week Each day school is in session from 11:00am to 1:00pm Salary $20 to $22 per hourQualifications:Good physical health and ability to perform assigned dutiesDemonstrated ability to work successfully with children and adultsRequired criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien statusPrimary Functions:To supervise the lunchroom and recess activities under the direction of the building principal and assigned teaching staffMajor Duties and Responsibilities:Supervises students during their lunch period in the cafeteria and during recessMaintains a system for orderly food purchase by students, food waste disposal, and trays and utensils returnEnsures that students are seated in assigned areasCirculates among the tables during mealtime so as to be available to students who need help or to resolve any minor problems that ariseInforms principal of any serious infractions of discipline rules by studentsEnsures the cleanliness of tables and surrounding areas, assisting in cleaning the tables and floors at the end of lunch serviceOrganizes groups for orderly dismissal from the cafeteriaCommunicates with students in a calm manner, maintaining established school rulesEnsures safe playground activities and interactions among students, circulating among the students during recessPerforms other related duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:NJ Teacher or Substitute Certificate or A passing score of 456 or higher on the ParaPro AssessmentPlease submit an application, letter of interest, resume, and copy of certification (if applicable) through the Haddon Heights School District Employment website.
