Responsibilities

• Engage in high-volume phone contact with policyholders requesting cancellations.
• Resell the benefits of life insurance and highlight its importance.
• Handle cancellation requests and provide thorough, personalized service.
• Maintain high standards for call volume, handling time, and overall time management.
• Ensure customer satisfaction in every interaction, whether via phone, email, or written correspondence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a high-volume contact center environment, a receptionist role, or any role that involved frequent phone interaction (strict requirement).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Remote work experience is strongly preferred, though not required.
• Reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload with a hard‑wired connection).
• Smartphone access for VPN use.
• Upselling or retention experience is preferred.
• Quiet and professional workspace.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic keyboard functions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and work under pressure.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and customer-focused.

Perks

• Pay: $16.35 per hour (+$1.00 if bilingual in Spanish and able to pass bilingual assessment).
• Eligible for bonus pay based on performance.
• Schedule: Part‑time evening shift – Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM CST; Saturday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM CST.
• Work from Home: Equipment provided.
• Training: 4 weeks of paid training (Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM CST).
