Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and responsible Group Home Manager to oversee the day to day administrative and operational needs of our residential facility in Goodyear, Arizona.

This is a hybrid management position, allowing the manager to complete many administrative responsibilities remotely. The manager is required to be physically present at the facility at least once per week for approximately two hours to complete an in person facility, resident, staff, safety, and documentation check.

The manager will also have partial on call responsibilities to assist with urgent questions, staff concerns, resident concerns, and facility needs when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities

Administrative Management

• Monitor and respond to facility emails and communications

• Follow up with staff, residents, providers, and other individuals as needed

• Ensure resident documentation is current, complete, and organized

• Review documentation for missing or outdated information

• Follow up with staff regarding outstanding documentation

• Maintain accurate records and administrative files

• Monitor required forms, logs, and other facility documentation

• Communicate important updates to appropriate staff and leadership

• Assist with scheduling and staff communication when needed

• Follow up on outstanding administrative and compliance items

• Help ensure staff are completing required documentation and responsibilities

Weekly Facility Visit

The manager must visit the facility at least once per week for approximately two hours to:

• Complete a walkthrough of the facility

• Verify that the facility is clean, safe, and properly maintained

• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns

• Check in with residents and address immediate concerns

• Check in with staff and identify operational concerns

• Review medication documentation and verify required records are current

• Review medication related concerns and communicate issues to appropriate personnel

• Confirm required resident and staff documentation is being maintained

• Ensure the home is operating according to company policies and applicable requirements

• Report significant concerns to the appropriate supervisor or administrator

Partial On Call Responsibilities

The Group Home Manager will participate in partial on call coverage.

On call responsibilities may include:

• Responding to urgent staff questions

• Assisting with staff call offs or coverage concerns

• Responding to resident related concerns

• Communicating with leadership regarding urgent situations

• Providing guidance to staff when appropriate

• Following up on incidents or facility concerns

• Escalating emergencies or significant concerns to the appropriate person

The manager is not expected to be available 24 hours a day. Specific on call expectations and coverage periods will be communicated by management.

Additional Shift Opportunities

The Group Home Manager may also work additional shifts at the facility when needed.

Additional shifts are paid at $10 per hour.

Additional shifts may include:

• Staff coverage

• Overnight coverage

• Weekend coverage

• Call off coverage

• Resident support

• Other facility needs as assigned

Additional shift hours are separate from the $450 weekly management compensation.

Candidates must be able to successfully complete the required:

• Level 1 background check

• Tuberculosis screening

• Fingerprinting

• First Aid certification or current First Aid certification, as required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of the following areas is preferred:

• Group home or residential care

• Behavioral health

• Case management

• Social services

• Healthcare

• Residential management

• Medication documentation

• Compliance or quality assurance

• Staff supervision

• Electronic documentation systems

Relevant education, certifications, or professional experience may be considered based on the candidate’s background.

Schedule

This is a hybrid part time management position based in Goodyear, Arizona.

The manager will complete administrative responsibilities remotely throughout the week and must be physically present at the facility at least once per week for approximately two hours.

The specific day and time of the weekly facility visit may be coordinated based on facility needs.

Additional shifts may be available based on staffing needs and are paid separately at $10 per hour.

Compensation

Weekly Management Compensation: $450

Additional Facility Shifts: $10 per hour

The weekly management compensation covers the ongoing management and administrative responsibilities associated with the position. Additional hours worked as facility shifts are compensated separately at $10 per hour.
