Part-Time House ManagerLocation: Clayton, Missouri 63105Employment Type: Part-time, 15 - 18 hours per week (15 hours guaranteed)Schedule: Flexible weekday schedule, 2-3 shifts per week between approximately 9:00 AM - 3:30 PMCompensation: $28-$32/hour based on experienceStart Date: Mid JulyRequirementsMaintain a smoke-free environmentReliable transportation with valid driver's license and clean driving recordUp-to-date vaccinations per CDC recommendations for adultsAbout Our FamilyWe are a busy family of four in Clayton, about 15 minutes from downtown St. Louis. Both parents own their own business, with one working outside the home and the other managing her company from home full time. Our children are 2.5 and 13 months, and we also have a beloved 9-year-old 50-pound aussie/pointer mix dog.We are in a season of transition as our youngest starts full-time daycare at the end of June and we continue settling into our newly built home after moving in this past December.

We are excited to establish routines and systems that allow us to spend more quality time together as a family. We are grateful to have the support of nearby family, and often have grandparents helping throughout the week. We love our new space where we can enjoy entertaining friends and family throughout the year.Our goal is to find someone who can help manage the details of daily life—inventory management, laundry, light meal prep, organization, and general household support—allowing us more mental space to focus on our careers and spend quality time together as a family.Who You Are/ What We're Looking ForYou are a reliable, detail-oriented person who thrives on organization and takes pride in maintaining a well-run home. You are friendly and value building a long-term relationship while maintaining professionalism—you are someone who can read the room, engage in light conversation when appropriate, and maintain clear boundaries.Key ResponsibilitiesHousehold Organization & MaintenanceMaintain daily tidiness throughout the home with particular focus on first-floor common areas (kitchen, great room, entryway)Reset and tidy daily: put items away, wipe down counters, load/unload dishwasher, manage trash and recycles, vacuum high-traffic areas and couchesPrepare home for weekly house cleanersCut and arrange fresh flowers in vasesCoordinate donation drop-offsManage seasonal clothing swaps for children as directed, being mindful of cleaning out sizes as they growReset guest room when visitors stayProvide transportation for children (pickups and/or drop offs) on a rare basis, as neededWalk dog occasionallyManage pet supply inventoryInventory & ErrandsRun miscellaneous errands as requested: returns, dog food, steak and kitchen knife sharpening, gift shoppingRestock all household supplies (toiletries, paper goods, cleaning products)Maintain running household supply listBreak down boxes and manage recyclingMeal SupportCreate grocery list and shop in-person for all grocery items based on provided weekly meal planPut groceries away and wash/prep (e.g. chop, store) fruits and vegetables for easy snackingPrepare simple slow cooker meals approximately 1-2 times per month (10-minute assembly)Batch meal prep for weekly adult lunches (simple chopping and assembly for salads, etc.) and family breakfasts as requestedPrep school lunches for children as requestedMaintain clean and organized kitchenLaundry & LinensCollect, wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundryProvide special care for garments regularly: steam, iron, stain treat, etc.Coordinate with dry cleaning pickup/delivery serviceRotate bed linens and towels, remake bedsMaintain tidy and well-stocked laundry areasVendor & Property OversightServe as on-site contact for home maintenance vendorsCoordinate and schedule annual maintenance services: window washing, gutter cleaning, HVAC using provided vendor listCreate and manage routine maintenance calendar for the home and follow through on scheduled maintenance appointments; communicate with family on progress as neededTidy outdoor space before entertaining (light weeding, wiping down outdoor furniture, cleaning off and/or putting out pool toys, ensuring drink fridge is stocked)Administrative & Event SupportAssist with coordination for hosting events, including scheduling vendors (caterers, bartenders, etc.) and light prep tasks (e.g.
