Part Time Emergency Medicine Physician

Position Overview

Part‑time Emergency Medicine Physician (Faculty) at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. Salary: $250 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage in the Good Samaritan and Chandler Emergency Departments on a per‑need basis.
• Work varying shifts and hours as required.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board eligible or board certified in emergency medicine.
• License to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs; stand or walk with objects up to 25 lbs.
• Possible exposure to radiation, cuts/punctures, bloodborne/airborne pathogens, and/or challenging individuals.

Other Information

• No supervisory responsibilities.
