Deposit Administrative Clerk IThe Deposit Administrative Clerk I performs various activities within the Deposit Administration department.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Regular onsite attendanceAbility to work well with others in a team environmentProviding accurate, efficient, and exceptional customer service to both internal and external customersMaintaining knowledge of bank regulations, security and compliance responsibilities, products, policies, procedures, and meeting deadlinesSatisfactorily completing all training required for the positionDaily maintenance for new and existing accounts, including the proper processing of IRA's & HSA'sProcessing daily procedures for the Core systemMaintaining files for business resolutions, power of attorneys, trust agreements, etc.Performing research on deposit accounts for branch requests, customer requests, social security requests, and court subpoenasReviewing and monitoring stop payment maintenance on accounts including unauthorized ACH affidavits and returnsReviewing the following reports to ensure proper documentation is available for audit: Daily New Accounts, Holds-Prior Day, Stop Payments-Prior Day, HSA-IRA ContributionsHandling the daily processing of debit cards including processes related to fraud, Federal Regulation E, and MasterCard RulesProcessing monthly child support paymentsProcessing daily FED returns (returned deposited items)Verifying new and expired stop paymentsProcessing daily merchant capture corrections/approvalsProcessing daily mobile capture depositsProcessing scanning and indexing of account documentationHandling branch and customer calls related to debit cards, infoline, online banking, and other depository concernsPerforming back-up function to the customer support center (answers external calls)Performing back-up function to the courierPerforming daily mail room dutiesOperating live chatAssisting other members of the Deposit Administration and Customer Support Center teams as neededOther duties may be assignedThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
