Position Overview
Marquette University School of Dentistry (MUSoD) seeks qualified candidates for a part‑time faculty position in pediatric dentistry at the school’s main campus in Milwaukee, WI. Minimum weekly commitment is one full day or two half days per week. As Wisconsin’s only dental school, MUSoD is answering the call to meet workforce needs, increase access to oral health care for underserved patients, and advance dental education in Wisconsin. MUSoD serves the community on its main campus in Milwaukee and in outreach clinics across the State of Wisconsin.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include clinical and simulation lab instruction of dental students. Expectations include full participation in all aspects of clinical, nonsurgical pediatric dental care in the clinical and simulation lab settings.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- DMD / DDS degree from a US or Canadian dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Completed a Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- A current, valid license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin.
- Current CPR certification.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Five years of dental experience focused primarily on pediatrics.
