Part-Time College Counselor

To support students in their college admissions journey, the part-time College Counselor will manage a caseload of 12+ students, primarily juniors and seniors, working remotely and requiring availability during West Coast hours. Key responsibilities Build and maintain 1:1 relationships with students and their families, providing guidance throughout the college admissions process Conduct counseling sessions outside of school hours, accommodating students' time zones, especially during the intensive fall season Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance counseling skills and stay updated on best practices Required qualifications Experience working with high school students across various grade levels, including underclassmen Ability to navigate family dynamics and communicate effectively with parents Strong organizational skills to manage multiple students and deadlines simultaneously Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional growth Comfort with technology and adapting to evolving systems in a remote work environment
