The role involves ensuring accurate medication preparation and dispensing, resolving medication-related issues, supervising pharmacy support staff, and educating patients to promote optimal drug therapy. The pharmacist will oversee procurement, storage, distribution, and disposal of medications, while serving as a key resource for drug information, staff training, and transitions of care.
Key responsibilities include directing workflow, participating in departmental meetings, evaluating medication orders for appropriateness, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and safety in medication use.
- Manage pharmacy operations and supervise staff, interns, and volunteers.
- Contribute to departmental committees and meetings.
- Serve as a resource for drug information and staff training.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required; Doctorate preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience; 2-5 years preferred.
- Licensed as a registered pharmacist in MO and with Medication Therapy Services certification.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and supervisory skills.
