Seasonal Christmas Light Installer
Job Description
General Purpose: This position is a part-time position with the main responsibility of assisting the full-time staff with duties related to Christmas light setup, which will change from day to day. This includes lifting, carrying, and assembling light displays throughout the park. This is not a desk or office job. It is an active position, requiring teamwork and coordination to decorate the park.
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Must possess great people skills, work well with others, and maintain a positive attitude. •Load and unload light displays and related equipment. •Wrap and unwrap Christmas lights, extension cords, and work alongside heavy equipment to decorate the park. •Must be responsible, mature, energetic, and able to get along with different personalities and maintain order in a fast-paced environment with multiple supervisors. •Applicant must be able to work on a team and be willing to take direction. •Work is in a fun, fast-paced environment in the elements.
Typical Qualifications
Physical Requirements: •Must be able to assist in the setup, execution of, and tear down of Park decorations. •Push, pull, or drag on occasion, up to 50 lbs. •This is a physically demanding job at times, being on your feet for long periods of time. •You may work out in the elements, rain, snow, heat or cold. Required Qualifications: •Must be 16 years old or older. •Ability and willingness to assume responsibility for work performed.
