Job Title
Performs a variety of services for the Juvenile Day Reporting Center, including supervision of program participants to ensure their compliance with court ordered conditions and program requirements. Conducts curfew checks, school visits and home visits on clients in the program. Performs and responds to crisis intervention services for youth and their families. Refers clients to programming to assist in areas of needs identified at intake with families. Suitability of these case managers working with at risk youth. Write court reports, and keeping themselves available to testify in court proceedings as needed. Keeps records and case files in order with attendance record, etc. Performs related duties as required.
Minimum Education and Experience
Associates/Technical degree with coursework in human services, criminology, substance abuse, criminal justice, or related field and less than one-year experience working with the public, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Comments
Must have valid North Carolina driver's license, good driving record, and transportation for use at work. This position assists with transporting juveniles living in Randolph County. CPR/First Aid Certification is required within the first 6 months of employment. Background Check and Drug Screen Required. Work Hours: Monday through Friday 20 hours a week.
