Queen of Angels Catholic School is seeking a dependable, organized, and caring individual to serve as our Part-Time Cafeteria Manager. This person will oversee the daily operation of the school cafeteria and prepare nutritious lunches for approximately 270 students in preschool through eighth grade.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan and create monthly school lunch menus
• Order food, beverages, paper products, and other cafeteria supplies
• Monitor inventory and maintain appropriate supply levels
• Cook and prepare daily lunches for approximately 270 students
• Organize meal preparation to ensure lunches are served safely and on schedule
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and allergy-related procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and serving area
• Receive and properly store deliveries
• Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and waste
• Coordinate and communicate with cafeteria staff, school administration, and vendors
• Maintain required food-service records and complete other cafeteria-related duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, meal preparation, catering, or cafeteria operations
• Experience preparing food for large groups is preferred
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage several responsibilities efficiently
• Knowledge of proper food-handling and sanitation practices
• Ability to lift and carry food, supplies, and kitchen equipment as required
• A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the welcoming environment of our Catholic school community
• Safe serve certification

The successful candidate must complete all required clearances and safe-environment requirements.
