Our staffing firm is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Bookkeeper on behalf of a well-established, locally owned CPA firm in Rock Hill, SC. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and quick to learn new software and processes. This position offers flexibility, professional development, and the chance to work alongside experienced accounting professionals in a supportive office environment.

Schedule

• Approximately 20-25 hours per week
• Hours may fluctuate based on workload and seasonal business demands
• Opportunity for additional hours and eventual full-time employment for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping data
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assist with payroll-related tasks and reporting
• Enter financial data and maintain organized records
• Generate reports and assist with client account management
• Utilize accounting and cloud-based software platforms
• Support the accounting team with various administrative and bookkeeping functions

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping, accounting, office, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and comfort learning new technology
• Ability to quickly adapt to new software systems and processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn
