Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership
Schedule: Part-Time (Before & After School Programs, School Breaks, and Summer Programs)
Monday-Friday: 2PM-6PM
We are looking for candidates who are available to work all five days of the week for the full duration of the shift. We cannot accommodate partial shifts.
Pay: $32/hour

Key Responsibilities
Student Engagement & Support
- Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
- Serve as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.
- Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
- Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
- Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
- Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
- Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.
- Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
- Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.
- Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
Candidates must be 20 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet one of the following requirements:
- Hold a Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level 3 Certificate
- An Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development, Elementary Education, or Child and Family Services AND 1 year of experience working with groups of kids in 3rd grade or under
- A certificate of completion from the Registered Child Care Apprenticeship Program
- A Child Care Certificate from the Community College of Vermont AND 1 year of experience working with groups of kids in 3rd grade or under
- Successful completion of at least 21 college credits with an early childhood or school aged focus AND 1 year of experience working with groups of kids in 3rd grade or under
- Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
