You will be part of a tight-knit, in-office accounting team, onsite five days a week, reporting updates to the Accounts Supervisor and Controller.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamManage accounts receivable and collections activity for approximately 1,000 client accountsCommunicate professionally and confidently with clients regarding outstanding balances, payment status, and account questionsProcess and apply ACH payments and wire transfers dailyTrack and reconcile payments received through electronic transfers and checksMaintain accurate AR records and detailed collection notesTrack and assist with accounts receivable forecastingWork extensively with spreadsheets to organize, track, and report AR activityGather account and payment information and identify items requiring follow-upProvide clear, timely updates to the Accounts Supervisor and ControllerCollaborate closely with a tight-knit accounting teamAssist with additional AR and collections responsibilities as neededHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role3+ years of Accounts Receivable and/or Collections experienceStrong client-facing communication skills with a professional and personable approachExperience processing and applying ACH, wire, and check paymentsProficiency with Microsoft ExcelExperience with QuickBooksFamiliarity with AR tracking, aging, and forecastingComfortable working extensively with spreadsheets and financial dataStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent note-taking, documentation, and follow-throughAbility to clearly communicate account activity and important information to accounting leadershipCollaborative attitude and ability to work well within a close-knit team environmentPay Range$24/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
