Position Summary

IU Health Physicians has an opportunity for a Hospitalist to practice at IU Health West Hospital in the top-ranked suburb of Avon, IN.

*J-1 visa waiver deadline for the 2025 cycle has passed at all IU Health locations in the state of Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Full-Time, 7 on/7 off, Days
• Admit to inpatient or appropriate level of care
• Perform or supervise the performance of patient care services
• Procedures not required
• Collaborate with other attending physicians and consultants
• Work with and support APPs when assigned
• Take transfer center calls to accept referred patients
• Opportunity to teach medical students, if desired

Qualifications

• B.E. or B.C. in Internal Medicine
• Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
