Parkview Health is seeking a board‑certified Neurologist for Neurohospitalist services to join a multidisciplinary Neurosciences team including Neurocritical Care, Neurosurgery, and Neuro‑Interventional Radiology.
Responsibilities
- Acute neurology patient consulting - only service
- Emergency Department stroke assessments with guidance for thrombolytic therapy
- Virtual neurology consultations at affiliated outlying hospitals
- Electroencephalogram interpretation
- Flexible and light overnight call schedule
- Inpatient and outpatient opportunities available
- Expertise in stroke and EEG interpretation are an asset
- Separate NeuroICU service covered by neurointensivists
Team Composition
Our diverse team includes 10 physicians in neurology, neurointensive care, neurointervention, and neurosurgery and 8 advanced practice providers that specialize in the treatment of diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.
