Northwell Health's Department of Neurology is seeking full-time BC/BE Movement Disorders Physicians to join their rapidly expanding program. This role involves providing superb clinical care, participating in innovative care models, engaging in collaborative research, leading community programs, and contributing to medical education. Successful candidates will become part of a large, multidisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive patient care and academic excellence within one of the largest Parkinson's and Movement Disorders programs in the Northeast.

- The Parkinson's and Movement Disorders program is among the largest in the Northeast, providing comprehensive medical, rehabilitative, and surgical care.
- The surgical program includes an active deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program and High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU).
- The multidisciplinary team includes specialty-trained, board-certified neurologists and neurosurgeons, as well as nurse practitioners, nurses, neuropsychologists, and social workers.
- The Center closely collaborates with Northwell's Rehabilitation Network, including occupational, physical, speech, and other therapists.
- A unique, dedicated, and specialized 12-bed Parkinson's and movement disorders inpatient unit is established at Glen Cove Hospital in Long Island, offering advanced rehabilitation services and medical and surgical optimization.
- The Department of Neurology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years across all regions.

Compensation
- Competitive salaries with annual incentive compensation bonus
- Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.

Requirements
- D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or foreign program that is similarly appropriately accredited)
- Completion of Neurology residency and Movement Disorders fellowship
- Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
