Parking Enforcement Officer

The Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for enforcing parking regulations and ordinances to ensure safe, efficient, and accessible use of parking spaces and facilities. This position patrols assigned areas, issues citations for violations, assists the public with parking information, and reports hazards or maintenance needs.Working hours are 8:30am - 7:00pmPatrols assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to monitor parking compliance.Provide courteous assistance and information to the public regarding parking rules, locations, and payment optionsObserve and report hazardous conditions, malfunctioning meters, or damaged signageValid driver’s licenseAble to walk and stand for prolong periods of timeGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to work outside in all weather conditionsAbility to perform all work duties and activities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and safety practices
