Paraprofessional Opportunities
Pottstown School District is looking for paraprofessionals throughout the district. Positions include learning support assistants, emotional support assistants, and autistic support 1:1 assistants.
Position details:
- 10 month position/187-day calendar
- Benefit eligible (medical, vision, dental, prescriptions)
- Eligible for $6,100/year in tuition reimbursement
- ESY employment opportunities
Qualifications:
- Act 34, Act 114 and Act 151 clearances required
- Physical and TB test must be presented prior to starting employment
- Minimum of an associate's degree or at least two years of post-secondary education preferred
- PA Teaching Certification highly desirable
- May be asked to function in an instructional capacity or as a personal care assistant
