Paraprofessional Position Available
Provide assistance to both students and teachers in implementing lesson plans. Work on an individual basis with students when necessary. Provide support within the educational setting.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Two year or four-year degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field.
Licenses, Certificates, and Registrations: (Preferred but not required) Para Highly Qualified status according to current statute and union contract or able to obtain Highly Qualified status Highly Qualified status documentation Associate degree or higher Two years of Full-time enrollment at an institution of higher education (minimum of 60 semester credits) Have demonstrated, through a formal state or local academic assessment at a prior school (i.e., Para Pro Test, PARA Assessment) Crisis prevention intervention (CPI) training
Salary Range: Union contract hourly range based on education, experience, and qualifications: $17.01 - $21.01 The following hourly range is based on the school year union contract; these amounts will be subject to change/increase once the new contract is settled.
