Setting: School-Based Services
- Pay: $20-$25/hour
- Exclusive school placement (no travel required)
- Dates : Sept 2026-June 2027
- Hours : 8:30 am - 3:00 pm, M - F
- Assist Classroom Teachers: Provide support to teachers by helping with instructional activities, managing classroom materials, and ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
- Support Students' Learning Needs: Work closely with individual or small groups of students to reinforce lessons, assist with assignments, and provide accommodations for those with special educational needs.
- Promote Positive Behavior: Help monitor and guide student behavior in the classroom and during school activities, ensuring adherence to school policies and promoting a safe, respectful learning atmosphere.
- Associate's Degree Or at least 60 college credits Or you have passed the Paraprofessional Praxis Pro Exam
- Paras must have experience with toileting, aggressive behaviors and low functioning population
