What You'll Do:
- Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally throughout the school day.
- Work closely with teachers to provide individualized and small-group assistance.
- Help students access classroom instruction and achieve their educational goals.
- Encourage student independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.
- Assist with the implementation of accommodations and supports outlined in student plans.
- Build positive relationships with students while helping maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families as part of a student-centered team.
- Individuals who enjoy working with teenagers and helping them succeed.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Prior experience in education, youth development, coaching, mentoring, or related fields is a plus.
