Para Educator
Position: Para Educator (Multiple vacancies) – 2026 - 2027 School Year
Location: Schools to be determined
Responsible to: Building Administrator and Special Education Coordinator
Essential Functions:
- Providing academic support and curriculum modifications for students with disabilities
- Assisting classroom teachers in making accommodations to assignments
- Facilitating student independence while implementing IEPs
- Employing the use of behavior management plans for various students
- Providing 1 to 1 assistance to students
- Supporting the school nurse with the physical needs of some children such as toileting and wheelchair transitions
Salary: per union agreement, starting at $21.40
