Paraprofessional

Indy West Christian School is seeking a dedicated, mature Christian individual to join our team as a Full-Time Paraprofessional. This role provides classroom support, student supervision, and assistance to teachers while helping create a Christ-centered environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. The ideal candidate has a heart for serving children, a commitment to Christian education, and a desire to support the mission of the school.
Professional Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience working with children preferred.

Spiritual and Personal Qualifications:

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Support the school Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement.
• Active member of an evangelical church.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning support.
• Supervise and positively interact with students throughout the school day.
• Monitor students while teachers work with individuals or small groups.
• Support lunch, recess, and other supervisory duties.
• Provide coverage for before-school or after-school care programs.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in professional development.
• Uphold confidentiality and follow the Matthew 18 Principle in relationships
• Perform other duties as assigned.
