Gasconade County R-1 School District is accepting applications for a Paraprofessional.
Position Summary
As a Paraprofessional, you will play an important role in supporting student learning and success. Responsibilities include working one-on-one and in small groups with students to meet individual learning needs, providing instructional and tutoring support as needed, and assisting teachers in creating a positive learning environment.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally.
- Providing instructional and tutoring services to eligible students.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and paperwork.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Services, building principal, or supervising teacher to support student achievement.
The ideal candidate is student-centered, adaptable, dependable, and enjoys working collaboratively with staff to help students succeed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Sixty (60) college credit hours preferred, or the ability to obtain Missouri Paraprofessional Certification.
