Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay is $20/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable School Aide/Paraprofessional to provide one-on-one support to a student in a preschool classroom setting. The classroom is structured similarly to a daycare/preschool environment, and the selected candidate will work closely with the student throughout the school day to support academic, social, behavioral, and communication needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young children and making a meaningful impact in a student's educational experience.
Responsibilities

Provide direct one-on-one support to an assigned student throughout the school day

Assist the student with classroom participation and daily activities

Support communication, behavior, and social interactions

Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to implement student goals

Assist with classroom transitions and routines

Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

Follow all district and school policies and procedures
Qualifications

Valid Substitute Teaching Certificate required

Experience working with children in a school, daycare, preschool, or related setting preferred

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, patient, and professional demeanor

Experience working with students with special needs is a plus
