POSITION:
PARAPROFESSIONAL(S) - Grant Funded
- Multiple Positions Available
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Must meet physical requirements
- Must meet general qualifications of a paraprofessional
- Must have experience working with special education students
- Must function as part of a multi-disciplinary team in meeting physical and emotional needs of special education children in a highly structured setting.
- Familiarity with evidences based and best practices working with students with ASD
- Excellent communication skills
- Must fulfill "Highly Qualified" Federal requirements, and all State and Federal standards (passed ETS Parapro Assessment and /or Associate's Degree)
- Excellent attendance and punctuality necessary
DUTIES:
- Work under the direction of the Principal and Teacher and as part of a team to satisfy the needs of the students
- Assist students with lunch, snacks, toileting, and other school activities. Other such duties as assigned
