Qualifications: At least twenty years of age
High school diploma or its equivalent
Two years of college (48 credit hours) or Associates Degree from an Institute or higher APPLICANTS MUST BE HIGHLY QUALIFIED AS REQUIRED BY THE "NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT'
Terms of Employment: Nine (9) Months
Reports to: Teacher and Principal
Job Goal: To assist teachers in improving competencies in all areas of instruction
Occupational Characteristics: Strength: Exert force of 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
Other Physical Demands: Reaching, handling, fingering, talking, hearing, near acuity (under 20 inches), far acuity (over 20 feet), depth perception, accommodation (focal length change), color vision, field of vision (peripheral vision).
Environmental Conditions: Noise Intensity Level - Moderate
