About the Role
Hello, Paraprofessionals! Ampersand Therapy is hiring full-time Paraprofessionals to support a student in an elementary school setting in Evergreen, CO. In this role, you'll provide direct 1:1 support to students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs while helping them access their education and succeed in the classroom. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys building strong connections with students, providing individualized support, and making a meaningful impact throughout the school day.

What You'll Do
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students in the classroom
- Assist with implementing behavior plans and classroom strategies
- Support students with academic tasks and daily routines
- Help reinforce social, emotional, and communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Support students with transitions throughout the school day
- Maintain basic documentation as needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow direction and support behavior and academic plans
- School-based or paraprofessional experience a plus
