Special Education Paraprofessional Preschool (Part-Time)
Watertown-Mayer Public Schools is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-centered Special Education Paraprofessional to support preschool students at the Community Learning Center. Position details include a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 to 11:15 AM, starting in August 2026. Pay ranges from $20.32 to $23.15 per hour. Benefits may include health, dental, and life insurance and long term disability.
What You'll Do:
- Support preschool students with academic, social, behavioral, and communication needs.
- Work alongside special education teachers to implement individualized supports.
- Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and daily routines.
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Highly Qualified Para status (60 college credits, AA degree or higher, or passing score on the ParaPro Assessment).
- Experience working with young children or students with disabilities.
