The Camdenton R-III School District is seeking an early childhood paraprofessional to join our team. The ideal candidate will support early childhood teachers by managing classroom activities, supervising children (ages 3-5) during play, meals, and rest, and reinforcing lessons for individuals or small groups. They will be responsible for ensuring safety, assisting with personal care (restroom/hygiene), creating educational materials, and maintaining a positive learning environment. Creating a culture of "Everyone Learning Every Day".

Assists with play-oriented curriculum, sets up learning centers, and reinforces lessons initiated by the teacher.

Monitors children in the classroom, on the playground, during meals, and on field trips.

Helps students with clothing, toileting, hand washing, and maintains a clean, disinfected environment (e.g., sanitizing toys/cots).

Helps with daily routines, such as organizing materials, taking attendance, preparing snacks, and cleaning up.

Implements behavioral plans, minimizes disruptions, and encourages positive social interactions.

Prepares communication folders, creates materials, and aids with data collection or progress monitoring.

Pay Range: Starting at $17.06 (plus credit for up to 7 years of relevant experience)
