QUALIFICATIONS
PARAPROFESSIONAL I (GRADE 18):
EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 60 semester hours from an accredited educational institution with at least 30 semester
hours in general education core curriculum and/or child development and education or successful
completion of the ParaPro Test with a score of 457 or higher.
• Experience working in a classroom setting with children.
• Proficiency in the operation of computers, operating systems and office software for word processing,
spreadsheets, and presentations.
PREFERRED/DESIRED:
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
REQUIRED:
• Valid State Driver•s License.
PARAPROFESSIONAL II (GRADE 19):
EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED:
• Associate•s degree or higher from an accredited educational institution required.
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting.
• Proficiency in the operation of computers, operating systems and office software for word processing,
