Position: Paraprofessional
Location: Stepanski Early Childhood Center
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Demonstrates a kind, patient, and positive demeanor with young children
- Works collaboratively as part of a classroom team
- Able to move quickly and actively supervise young children
- Willing to engage in indoor and outdoor play in all seasons
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to support toileting and potty training needs
- Follows direction and completes tasks efficiently and reliably
- Maintains confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrates punctuality and reliability for assigned duties
Responsibilities
- Assist with all classroom activities and daily routines
- Support students with inclusion, behavior, and engagement
- Serve meals and snacks; assist with cleanup
- Supervise and assist students during transitions (e.g., to/from office)
- Support building procedures, including arrival/dismissal duties and hallway supervision
- Follow all safety procedures, including emergency drills (e.g., securing classrooms during fire drills)
- Other duties as assigned by building Administrator

Workday/Week: Monday – Friday 7 Hours Per Day
