Position Purpose:
Support students academically, socially, behaviorally, and physically under the direction of teachers and school staff while helping maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:

• Assist students individually and in small groups with classroom activities and instruction.
• Support student learning, behavior, social skills, and independence.
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior plans as directed.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, field trips, and special events.
• Assist teachers with classroom organization, materials, and daily routines.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administration to support student success.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Ability to support students with a variety of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to helping students succeed.
