Position: Preschool Paraprofessional / After School Care Aid

St. Ann Catholic School is accepting applications for a Preschool Paraprofessional/After School Care Aide for the school year.
Candidate Responsibilities include:
- Assisting and supporting the preschool teacher with daily curriculum and routines in an enthusiastic and efficient manner.
- Provide an environment that is safe and nurturing inside the classroom and on the playground.
- Attend to student's physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.
- Ability to follow instructions in setting up and running centers set by the preschool teacher.
- Helping with snack and lunch time and other duties as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Classroom and playground supervision
- Creating a fun and safe environment
- Communicating with parents.
- Prefer candidate who has two or more years working with children or in a preschool environment.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Prefer candidate with college credits in early childhood.
- CPR and First Aid certification or willing to get certified.
- Ability to complete 16 hours of training yearly.
- Hourly wage dependent on education and experience
