Key Responsibilities:

• Provides direct support to children under the supervision of ECSE, PT, OT, SLP, MT, and BCBA to assist in developing cognitive, communication, self-help, social, motor, and sensory processing skills.
• Assists with self-care routines including diapering, feeding, toilet training, and hand washing.
• Prepares materials and equipment, organizes the classroom and storage areas, and assists with maintaining and ordering supplies.
• Substitutes for teachers and/or paraprofessionals when they are absent.
• Participates in therapy sessions and parent conferences as appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Communication (Required)
• Technologically competent (Required)
• Knowledge of disabilities and child and family development (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)

Work Experience:

• 1+ of position-related (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications:

• First Aid CPR AED (CPR AED) (Preferred)
