Paraprofessional (Aide) - Position is for School Year Only

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team at Clinton Elementary School as a Classroom Paraprofessional. This full-time position is designed for someone who is committed to supporting students and teachers in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in the delivery of instructional activities and lesson plans.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them understand and complete assignments.
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior, reporting any concerns to the teacher.
- Create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-classroom activities.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and personal information.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior interventions as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a paraprofessional license (See link below on info how to obtain your license through ROE#17)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift and assist students with mobility challenges if necessary.
