Requirements
Terms of Employment: 175 Day - Full Time Start Date: 08/18/2026 Minimum Qualifications/Required Skills: Current and Valid Paraprofessional License; 60 college credit hour or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining Paraprofessional License. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Responsibilities/Duties
Ability to promote a safe environment including physical intervention as needed according to protocol. Candidates with CPI training preferred or willing to train. Ability to work as a cooperating member of a team and effectively communicate with students, teachers, parents and administration; Positive attitude and dependability a must. Willingness or experience working with young children with special needs.
Pay and Benefits
$17.50/hour starting plus benefits. The District can provide additional credit to candidates who have prior work experience. Full health insurance program with major medical. Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF Pension). Paid time off.
