Suppresses fires, preserves life and property from the elements of disaster and renders medical care to sick and injured
Participates in fire company activities including fire suppression, rescue, public assistance, fire investigation, fire prevention, pre-fire planning, fire company training, public education, and routine maintenance of apparatus, equipment and fire department facilities Performs rescues, fire suppression, ventilation, salvage and overhaul, medical aid and any other duties related to the preservation of life and property Maintains up-to-date knowledge in data and information necessary to perform duties Inspects and tests ambulance equipment Completes appropriate medical reports Provides patient care and transportation of patients to appropriate medical facilities as needed Performs other duties as directed by the Fire Captain
High School Diploma or G.In-house Physical Abilities Test, CPAT, or Biddle Certificate Ability to complete forms, documents and written reports Ability to communicate effectively in the English language Completing Probation: $91,195.00 /Annually
