Paramedic - Emergency Department (ED) - PRN

The Paramedic functions as a member of the care team and participates in the care of ill and injured patients.

Responsibilities

• Patient care, incorporating stabilization and intervention techniques consistent with standards and protocols approved by the Medical Director.
• Functions as part of a team and shares responsibility for the team's conduct.
• Fulfills education skill requirements as established by the Medical Director.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (or higher).
• Graduate from an approved Paramedic program.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Current certification by the State of North Carolina as a Paramedic (NC EMT-P Certification).

Pay Range

• Paramedic hourly range > $21.53 - $31.38.
• Final compensation is determined at the offer stage.

• Location/Department: ECU Health Beaufort (Washington, NC) – Emergency Department (ED).
• Position is PRN (as needed) with rotating shifts.
